Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at contact@athleterebornfit.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Cash-based physical therapy means we do not bill insurance directly. Payment is made at the time of service, allowing us to provide fully individualized, one-on-one care without the limitations or restrictions often imposed by insurance companies.

We are an out-of-network provider and do not participate with insurance plans. However, many patients have out-of-network benefits and may be eligible for partial reimbursement.

Yes. We provide a detailed superbill after each visit that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies depending on your specific plan.

When calling your insurance ask them does my plan cover out of network physical therapy? Depending on your specific plan varying ranges of reimbursement are expected.

Appointments are either 60 or 30 minutes and are always one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist. We do not use aides, techs, or assistants.

Our model is designed to prioritize quality over volume. This allows for:
• Dedicated one-on-one sessions
• Longer appointment times
• Fully individualized treatment plans
• Direct access and communication with your therapist
• No insurance-driven limitations on care

Many patients choose cash-based physical therapy because it allows for more time, attention, and a highly personalized approach to care. With one-on-one sessions, faster access to treatment, and a focus on addressing the root cause rather than just managing symptoms, patients often require fewer visits and experience more efficient, long-lasting results. For those seeking a higher level of care and better overall outcomes, this model is often well worth the investment.

We treat a wide range of orthopedic, sports, and movement-related conditions, helping individuals recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to peak performance. Common diagnoses and conditions we address include:

• Sports and overuse injuries (muscle strains, ligament sprains, repetitive stress injuries)
• ACL injuries and rehabilitation (ACL tears, post-ACL reconstruction, return-to-sport training)
• Post-surgical rehabilitation (shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle procedures)
• Shoulder injuries (rotator cuff tendinopathy/tears, labral tears, impingement, instability)
• Elbow conditions (UCL injuries, tennis elbow/lateral epicondylitis, golfer’s elbow/medial epicondylitis)
• Neck pain and cervical spine conditions (cervical strain, disc herniation, radiculopathy, postural dysfunction)
• Low back pain and lumbar spine conditions (disc bulges/herniations, sciatica, facet irritation, muscle strain)
• Hip conditions (hip impingement/FAI, labral tears, hip flexor strains, gluteal tendinopathy)
• Knee pain and injuries (meniscus tears, patellofemoral pain syndrome, patellar tendinitis, ligament sprains)
• Foot and ankle injuries (ankle sprains, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis)
• Tendon and ligament injuries (tendinopathy, partial tears, chronic overuse conditions)
• Running-related injuries (IT band syndrome, shin splints, stress reactions, gait-related dysfunction)
• Balance, mobility, and stability limitations (fall risk, coordination deficits, movement inefficiencies)
• Postural dysfunction and movement impairments (forward head posture, scapular dyskinesis, poor mechanics)

Our approach is individualized and performance-driven, focusing on identifying the root cause of symptoms—not just treating pain—so you can move better, recover faster, and stay injury-free long term.

From your first visit, you’ll receive a comprehensive evaluation, hands-on treatment, and a clear, individualized plan tailored to your goals. All sessions are one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, ensuring consistency, attention to detail, and a higher level of care.

Treatment may include a combination of advanced techniques such as dry needling, hands-on manual soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, cupping, Class IV laser, shockwave, and blood flow restriction (BFR) training—alongside targeted exercise and movement-based rehabilitation.

We also guide activity modification, provide customized home exercise programs, and, when appropriate, integrate performance training and injury prevention strategies. Our focus is to help you recover efficiently, continue doing what you love, and return stronger with long-term results.
